Dr. Woo was invited by the Korean KSSMN committee as a lecture speaker and moderator at their 22th International symposium in Seoul

In March 2017, Dr. Emile Woo was invited by the Korean Society of Surgical Metabolism and Nutrition to attend their conference on "Nutritional Replenishment and Care for the Surgical Period – Sharing Experiences in Canada." Dr. Woo was also invited to give a keynote speech on the following “Early Recovery After Surgery in Canada and Beyond"

In the same conference, Dr. Woo was commissioned to chair several seminars. In addition to renowned surgeons from China, Japan and South Korea, participants of this conference included medical experts and colleagues from all over the world, all of whom fully affirmed and spoke highly of Dr. Woo's presentation. Dr. Woo was also invited as a Chief Consultant to give a lecture at the Korean University. Many students participated in the class and response was well received. They felt that the lecture provided material of great value to them.
